Digital Learning

What is Digital Learning?

Digital Learning is a prerequisite course that teaches about Web 2.0 tools, the basics of the Internet and computer skills related to information technology. However, Digital Learning is also where online safety, social communication and the ways to do effective peer reviews are learnt through connections with other peers. For this reason, the Digital Learning course is more than just a plain course about technology and the Internet. The Digital Learning course is overall an excellent course that strengthens a student's connection with information technology, the Internet and his/her peers.

What projects are included in Digital Learning?

Digital Learning Portfolio: The Digital Learning Portfolio is a unique website that holds all digital works from the Digital Learning course.

Uncle Albert: The Uncle Albert project is a Google Slides presentation that involves the use of screenshots and "eye shopping". The project's screenshots shows what electronic devices you imaginatively bought online with $1000 from your make-believe Uncle Albert.

Embed Codes: The Embed Codes project is a detailed project that involves the use of Web 2.0 tools and the embedding of codes.

Bumper Sticker Copycat: The Bumper Sticker Copycat project is another Google Slides presentation with screenshots of photo editing for a copycat bumper sticker.
